Hi, I’m Sarah!

My grandma was the best cook. My childhood memories are filled with her slicing apples, baking cakes, and hearty Sunday dinners. She always made sure her family was well fed!

We were fortunate she was capable (and enjoyed) cooking into her mid 90’s! Over time, her ability to stand and cook in the kitchen became compromised. Over the past three years, she has been sharing her recipes and cooking wisdom with me. Now, I’m cooking for her; modifying our family-favorite recipes and introducing new ones.

From my caregiver experience, I’ve noticed the demand for appropriate recipes for individuals experiencing a reduction in taste, vision loss, or oral health issues. I have created this blog for caregivers struggling to prepare proper nutrition for their loved ones. Caregiving can be incredibly isolating and stressful.
